Research coordinator position

The European Palliative Care Research Center (PRC), a patient-centered care center of the Norwegian Cancer Society is looking for an experienced research coordinator for the ENACT-65 project.

ENACT-65 is an EU Mission Against Cancer project aiming to integrate nutrition and physical activity into routine oncology care to improve survival and quality of life for older people with cancer. The consortium brings together leading European research institutions in the fields of nutrition, physical activity, oncology and supportive care.

This position involves playing a central role in the coordination of the consortium, the technical and administrative management of the project, its monitoring and progress as well as reporting activities within the international partner institutions.

The CRP is based within the Department of Oncology at Oslo University Hospital and the Institute of Clinical Medicine at the University of Oslo. The center has extensive collaborative networks across Europe, Canada and Australia. Together, they work to ensure that patients and their families receive the best possible evidence-based care locally, nationally and internationally.

The CRP conducts interdisciplinary research in priority areas such as nutrition and cachexia, pain, quality of life, health services research and end-of-life care. The center currently leads and contributes to several large-scale international initiatives and EU-funded projects.

This is a fixed-term contract.
