    Ethical Issues in End-of-Life Care in Neurology

    Using Parkinson’s disease as an example, Valérie MESNAGE and Elsa MHANNA will address the key challenges of end-of-life care, the importance of advance discussions involving loved ones, the need to recognize the approaching end of life, and requests for assisted dying and their specific characteristics in the context of neurological disorders.

    Palliative Care Research Year: applications for 2026 are now open

    As part of the initiatives led by the Department of Health to develop palliative care and end-of-life support, funding is available for postgraduate students to undertake a one-year research project in palliative care. The deadline for applications is 3 July 2026.
