Reflecting together on our practices in the perspective of a law on aid in dying
The aim is not to reopen the debate on the desirability of legislative change, but to reflect on how, in its implementation, it will mobilize us and modify our practices. To encourage exchanges, the symposium will be organized mainly around workshops (groups of 15 people) that will enable each participant to work on a variety of themes: "How to think with, do with, build with a new end-of-life law that would include assisted dying"
- Theme 1 "We ourselves with we ourselves."
- Theme 2 "With our own teams": USP, EMSP, LISP, HAD (Hospitalisation A Domicile), ERRSPP (pediatric palliative care team)
- Theme 3 "With our partners": hospital services, medico-social establishments, liberal professions
- Theme 4 "With our patients and their families"
- Theme 5 "With our students": in initial training in continuing education
- Theme 6 "With citizens, with our institutions": Healthcare establishments, ARS user representatives...
To facilitate exchanges 12 groups of 15 people will be formed (total number of places 180). Each group will work on 2 themes over the course of 2 days
Two plenary sessions, one of which will be international, will frame the workshop work, and the symposium will conclude with a restitution of the reflections presented by the workshop leaders and rapporteurs.
Number of places limited, pre-registration required by October 20, 2025.
