A series of webinars is being organized to support researchers in the call for applications to form consortia of the interdisciplinary end-of-life research program.

Call for consortia applications

March 27, 2025 methodology seminar.

The aim of this call for applications is to form two or three interdisciplinary consortia to structure and develop research projects of international ambition around one or other of the following thematic axes: "Suffering, lived experience at the end of life (of patients, relatives, healthcare professionals), death requests" or "Anticipating end-of-life issues through healthcare pathways, palliative care needs and different moments of vulnerability."

This webinar presents the Interdisciplinary Research Program on the End of Life, as well as the terms of the call for applications.

Feedback from interdisciplinary end-of-life consortia abroad

Methodology seminar on May 13, 2025.

In Canada, the Interdisciplinary Research Consortium on Medical Aid in Dying (CIRAMM) is a team of 75 researchers, clinicians, students and collaborators - patient partners, representatives of community organizations and international researchers - formed to better understand the use of medical aid in dying in the Quebec context. This consortium has succeeded in bringing together all the key players in the field of palliative and end-of-life care in Quebec. In Switzerland, another consortium has been formed for a project focusing on altruism at the end of life.

Participatory research actions are encouraged as part of the call for applications carried out by the Interdisciplinary Research Program on the End of Life.

The challenges of consortium structuring

Methodology seminar on June 3, 2025.

Two feedback sessions, one on the RHU FAME and the other on the PrevHPV project, presented the challenges encountered when structuring a consortium (how to move in the same direction - that of the consortium, while being responsible for different work packages, belonging to different specialties or disciplines and mobilizing different methodologies, to different Institutions, etc.

)
