Presentation of the Horizon 2026 "Earlier and more precise palliative care" call for projects

Webinar on February 26, 2026

This webinar aims to help researchers apply to the Horizon 2026 call for projects HORIZON-MISS-2026-02-CANCER-04, which is targeted at research projects in favor of early and better adapted palliative care.

Speaker: Vania ROSAS, coordinator National Contact Point (NCP) Health Cluster Horizon Europe, expert on the Horizon Europe program committee, DGRI, Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space.

She gives a detailed presentation of the content of the HORIZON-MISS-2026-02-CANCER-04 call for projects, offering recommendations for researchers.

In this call, researchers are invited to develop integrated palliative care models from the moment of cancer diagnosis. The challenge is to build care systems capable of anticipating patients' preferences and needs thanks to artificial intelligence and digital tools. It also involves deploying remote monitoring solutions and strengthening homecare options. The aim is also to improve real-time communication between patients, families and caregivers.

Feedback is also provided by Guillaume ECONOMOS, coordinator of a winning project in the European Horizon Europe 2021 call for projects: Integrated short-term palliative rehabilitation to improve quality of life and equitable care access in incurable cancer - INSPIRE.

A successful abstract for the EAPC 2026 congress

Webinar on October 2, 2025

Information on the specifics of the EAPC 2026 World Congress call for papers.

To help them, it has organized this webinar to learn more about the rigorous selection criteria of the call for papers, the pitfalls to avoid, and thus improve applications.

This information session is moderated by Adrien EVIN, co-chair of the French National Platform for End-of-Life Research.

Research programs on care and care provision

Webinar on October 17, 2025

In 2025-2026, End-of-Life, accompaniment and palliative care are among the priority themes for research programs on care and care provision.

Lionel DA CRUZ, head of the Research Organization and Funding Office at the Ministry of Health, Families, Autonomy and the Disabled, outlines the 2025-2026 campaign of calls for projects from the General Directorate for Healthcare Services and their thematic priorities.

Each research project has its own dedicated program, whether translational (PRT), clinical (PHRC), medico-economic (PRME), on the organization of care (PREPS) or nursing and paramedical (PHRIP).

The presentation of these five programs illustrates the logic of the continuum between knowledge production and improved care practices. It also gives future applicants tips on how to best prepare their applications and win these calls for projects.
