Scientific Days 2025
December 15 and 16, 2025 in Paris.
The first day gave the floor to young researchers. It focused on the present and future of palliative care in France, the role of palliative care physicians and the place of relatives. The second day was organized around three main themes: law, pediatrics and suicides at the end of life. Several speakers from abroad took the floor during these two days, bringing an international perspective to the discussions.

Scientific Days 2024
November 25 and 26, 2024 in Paris
The French National Platform for End-of-Life Research organized the sixth edition of its Scientific Days on Monday November 25 and Tuesday November 26, 2024.
The first day gave the floor to young researchers. The second was devoted to the launch of the Interdisciplinary End-of-Life Research Program.

Science and Society: What Role for Research in the End-of-Life Debate?

The first day of the symposium was dedicated to young researchers, while the second was an opportunity to present recent research work focusing on the research questions that emerged from the citizens' convention.

The Platform organized the fourth edition of its scientific meetings on December 15. Due to health conditions, this scientific day was finally held in virtual format.
Virtual seminar 2020
Aging and End-of-Life today

As the fields of End-of-Life and aging research partially overlap, a collaboration was initiated with the ILVV to organize joint scientific days. Originally scheduled to take place in Paris on December 16 and 17, these were transformed, due to the health crisis, into a virtual seminar that ran from December 16, 2020 to February 18, 2021.
