Summer University - Ethics and neuro-evolutionary disease

What if we rethought what it means to "seek" in the field of neuro-evolutionary diseases?

Research is often thought of as a matter of laboratories, protocols and cutting-edge technologies... Yet, in the face of diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Lewy body disease and so many others that affect the brain and nervous system, research also takes on other faces: those of sufferers, their loved ones and caregivers in the field. Every day, they are all inventing new ways of living with the disease, new ways of coping, of accompanying, of holding together.

This is the conviction that will guide the 14th edition of the Université d'été éthique et maladies neuro-évolutives: to highlight all forms of research, invention and experimentation, whether medical, technological, social or profoundly human:

• How to research, invent and experiment together
• How to recognize the value of what each person has to contribute to concretely improve care and support?
• How to build new research collectives?
