4th Francophone Conference on Support for Caregivers
Conference organized by the France Répit Foundation and the French Association of Caregivers.
At a time when more than 10 million people are caring for a loved one who is ill, has a disability, or has lost their independence—with significant impacts on family, social, and professional life, as well as on their own health—providing better support for family caregivers appears more than ever to be a major societal issue.
The 4th conference will provide an opportunity to update knowledge, discover local solutions and innovative initiatives, and take stock of public policies, just a few months before national elections that will be decisive for the development of support services for family caregivers.
While recent years have seen numerous advances, much remains to be done to strengthen caregivers’ rights and provide concrete, community-based solutions to all families seeking support. The 4th conference will welcome prominent figures from diverse backgrounds, invited to share their knowledge and experience within a broad Francophone community bringing together healthcare professionals, educators and researchers, patient and caregiver associations, facility administrators, providers of long-term care services, local governments, innovative companies, and family caregivers.
More than 800 participants are expected, both in person and remotely.
