End of life in place
The places of death and end-of-life care are evolving. Respecting the preferences of people at the end of life is important. The EOLinPLACE project team analyzed the diversity of desired and actual places of death. The EAPC Reference Group on Public Health and Palliative Care advocates a public health approach to improving end-of-life care in all settings. A comprehensive reform of the classification of places of death is underway.
This joint event organized by the EOLinPLACE project team and the EAPC Reference Group on Public Health and Palliative Care is a consultation that aims to develop an international classification of places of death, which represents a major development for the field of palliative care.
