First day of health economic evaluation
The Collège des Economistes de la Santé (College of Health Economists) is initiating a new biannual event dedicated to health economic evaluation. The aim is to bring together the players involved in these evaluations, who come from different backgrounds (institutional, academic and industrial).
Program
- Session 1. The demand for economic evaluations: expectations, needs and uses
Understanding the needs/expectations, constraints and concrete applications of economic evaluations requested by institutions and industry. - Session 2. Feedback from producers of economic evaluations: contributions, limits and challenges
Illustrating the diversity of practices through concrete cases and analyzing the difficulties encountered. - Session 3. Theoretical work: methodological innovations and applications
Present academic work that can be mobilized for health economic evaluation, question the conditions of integration into evaluation practice and their acceptability by decision-makers. - Round table: What work for tomorrow?
