The porous temporalities of dying
This study day examines "dying" not as a one-off event, but as a process with porous temporalities where past, present and future intertwine.
By bringing together researchers, artists and care and funeral professionals, the event aims to deconstruct the binarities between life and death in order to think through this space of ontological transformation. Through the analysis of experiences, rites and gestures of care, the aim is to explore how relationships between the living and the deceased are reconfigured.
