RFSPP 2023 Congress

This biennial event is important for the universal development of pediatric palliative care. Exactly 100 years ago on February 23, 1923, the first declaration of children's rights was adopted in Geneva. Then, on November 20 1989, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 24 of which states: "States Parties recognize the right of the child to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health and to facilities for the treatment of illness and rehabilitation of health. They shall strive to ensure that no child is deprived of his or her right of access to such services."

This congress will highlight transmission and training, accessibility to pediatric palliative care in low-income countries, the latest advances in pediatric palliative care research and pediatric palliative care guidelines.
