Survey on palliative care priorities

The Cochrane Pain, Palliative and Supportive Care (PaPaS) Group is launching a survey to help define priority issues in palliative care for adults.

Cochrane is an independent global network of people interested in health: researchers, professionals, patients and carers. The PaPaS group publishes systematic reviews to answer specific questions by analyzing evidence (for example, from clinical trials) to help people make informed healthcare decisions.

The survey seeks to identify which research questions are meaningful and important to stakeholders (patients and carers, healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers). The results will guide decision-making over the next five years.

Analysis of the responses and publication of priorities is scheduled for 2021.
