12th Congress of the EAPC

This congress, which will take place entirely online, will offer the opportunity to interact with experts in palliative care, and to present and discuss research. It will provide new ideas and knowledge to improve treatment and care.

Plenary lectures will focus on an intervention to reduce racial disparities in terminal cancer care (Pr; Holly Pringerson) and the role of big data in palliative care research (Pr; Joachim Cohen). Much time will be devoted to pediatric palliative care. Four thematic sessions are planned on adult palliative care: new approaches and technologies, challenges and opportunities related to symptom research, research on accelerated death wishes and on palliative care in the Covid-19 era.

The EAPC congress is once again the meeting place for all those involved in palliative care research.
