3rd International Death Literacies Symposium

The Dying Literacy Symposium is organized by the International Dying Literacy Network.

This network aims to bring together people working on death literacy and palliative care, share knowledge from current projects, inspire each other and collaborate on joint projects.

The first symposium was held in June 2024 at University College London, UK, followed by a second in March 2025 in Brussels. The latter brought together 42 international researchers from six countries, working on death literacy, bereavement literacy and end-of-life health literacy.

Inspired by the exchanges and energy at these meetings, participants decided to continue their efforts and a third symposium was soon organized.
