Call for posters for Journées Scientifiques 2025

The National Platform for End-of-Life Research is organizing its scientific days on December 15 and 16, 2025, in Paris, and is launching a call for posters.

This one is aimed at researchers, post-docs, PhD students working on a research question relating to death, end-of-life and palliative care. It is also open to second-year Master's research students working on topics related to the theme (and in particular to Master's 2 End of Life and Palliative Medicine).

It concerns all disciplines and to all subjects even if they are not directly related to the themes of the second day of the symposium (namely law, pediatrics and suicides at the end of life). It only concerns recent work (less than two years old).

Posters will be presented in digital format only on the first day of the symposium, to enable the entire research community to read them and discuss their content. They will be available for consultation online and throughout the scientific days on a dedicated totem. For each poster selected, a short presentation (followed by a discussion session) will be requested from the author.

Candidates wishing to present their work are invited to send us, via the online form below, a summary of their poster in French (3000 characters maximum). This should detail the problem, the methodology, any points of method or field realities that may give rise to discussion, and the expected spin-offs. The organizing committee will be particularly attentive to the presentation of research results.

The corresponding author will have to confirm that all co-authors agree on the content of the abstract and the data presented.

Only one submission per applicant is permitted. If the poster is submitted more than once, only the first version will be considered.

If you also wish to apply to the call for papers for the young researchers day, please note that oral communication will be preferred if accepted.

If your poster is accepted, we will ask you to send us the poster in advance of the scientific days (the modalities will be specified to you later). A deposit on the HAL open archive platform at the end of the symposium will be encouraged.

Successful applicants undertake to attend both days of the colloquium and to present their posters orally on December 15.

The Platform will contribute to travel expenses.

Applications are made via the online form below and must be submittedbetween May 14 and September 15, 2025. Successful proposals will be announced at the end of September 2025.
