Death wish and request for euthanasia and/or assisted suicide
Camille DE COCK, socio-anthropologist, will be speaking as part of the network's seminar Les morts. She will analyze the experience of patients, their loved ones and healthcare professionals concerning the desire to die and requests for euthanasia and/or assisted suicide.
Les Morts, du trépas à la tombe is a seminar for young researchers in the human and social sciences.
It aims to build an interdisciplinary collaborative network in anthropology, archaeology, forensic science, law, ergonomics, geography, history, art history, philosophy, psychology, political science, sociology and the list is non-exhaustive.
This is a space where participants present their research work, difficulties and questions (methodological, conceptual, theoretical, etc.) and thus confront their results and approaches on the dead with other disciplinary approaches on this object.
