EAPC 2020 online

In order to avoid any further postponements, the congress will now take place on a specially designed online congress platform accessible to all delegates, wherever they live in the world. Speakers and abstract authors will be able to share and debate their research findings with other researchers, academics, clinicians and other key colleagues in a timely manner to maximize the impact of their work and inform future research.

This online conference will have the same content as a face-to-face conference. All speakers have been invited to pre-record their presentations, and these will remain available for viewing throughout the online congress and for 12 weeks after the event. The online platform also enables participants to ask questions of the guest speakers and engage in discussion with them during live chat sessions. Recordings of the plenary Q&A sessions will also be available for later viewing. This new online format will also enable all parallel sessions to be viewed.

A last-minute call for abstracts on the palliative care response to the COVID-19 pandemic will be launched.
