Everyday Deaths

The British Sociological Association’s “Death, Dying, and Bereavement” study group is organizing a conference on everyday death.

This event will explore ordinary end-of-life experiences in everyday contexts such as the workplace, the home, the community, and care facilities. These deaths are often invisible, hidden, overlooked, and/or pushed to the background, even though they are the ones we most frequently experience or witness in society.
