International symposium on places of death.

Topics include: the growing demand for palliative care, how public policy can guarantee and fund palliative care at home, the international classification of places of death, end-of-life pathways, the impact of the place of death on caregivers and bereavement, the future of home care, etc.

This wide-ranging scientific event is organized by EOL in place and the University of Coimbra, with support from the European Research Council.
