"Publish and relish!" What publishing means today

Publications are both a vehicle for sharing knowledge and a support for the development of scientific careers. For all that, do the injunction to excellence and the publish or perish train scientists in a frantic race, or does there still remain a freedom to publish? Can we postulate a publish and relish?

This symposium is aimed at students^.e^.s and researchers^.e^.s (from PhD to emeritus) and will be an opportunity for all to share experiences , concerns and analysis on the scope and practices of social science publishing in the contemporary academic world.
