Reflexivity Symposium

Conference on Reflexivity in Research Involving Vulnerable Populations in Healthcare Settings.

Reflexivity encourages us to critically examine how our perspectives, experiences, assumptions, and emotions shape the research process and the knowledge we produce.

Over the course of two days, international speakers from Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, and Canada will explore reflexivity in the context of sensitive field research. 

The discussion will focus on ethical and methodological challenges, researchers’ emotional experiences and vulnerability, as well as individual, collective, and institutional practices that can foster rigorous and reflexive research.
