Study day on narrative ethics.

In caregiving, speech, narrative and discourse concern the human and relational dimension of our being-in-the-world; they put the social bond and symbolic order to the test, inclining us to reflect on the values that can come into tension, into conflict, even to the point of heartbreak in the case of the dilemma (tragic consciousness). How can we hear the plurality of voices in care? How can we think about the place of narrative in medical and care practices, but also articulate these discourses and the narratives of lived experience?
