A survey of community organisations supporting people receiving palliative care and their families

Monthly conference of the Réseau de recherche québécois en soins palliatifs et de fin de vie.

This paper will present the unifying project of RQSPAL's Axis 4, an environmental scan of community resources in palliative care. The aim is to identify and document community resources that support people in palliative care and their loved ones throughout the province of Quebec. The presentation will describe the steps involved in the environmental scanning process, as well as the results in 7 regions. Findings from the process will be presented, as well as anticipated spin-offs from the project for clinical practice, service development and the potential to support social innovation in palliative care.
