Creation of the JAINEoL network
A network of young researchers working on end-of-life issues is being set up internationally.
JAINEoL is an acronym for Junior Academics International Network on End of Life.
It's an international network of young researchers dreamed up last March by Iris Parra Jounou, Perrine Galmiche and Pia Ditt. It is aimed at "early-career researchers", i.e. Master's research students through to lecturers and post-docs (up to 5 years after obtaining a doctorate) from all personal and scientific backgrounds working on end-of-life issues.
This is an international network of young researchers, created last March by Iris Parra Jounou, Perrine Galmiche and Pia Ditt
JAINEoL aims to:
- Share events (conferences, workshops, seminars), calls for papers and recent publications,
- Share information on end-of-life laws, ethics, policies and practices in different countries,
- Support each other in methodological and research issues and overcome language barriers,
- Organize (online) meetings to exchange experiences, ideas and possible doubts,
- Create an annual conference,
- Work in a non-hierarchical way to facilitate the integration of new researchers at the start of their careers,
- Establish partnerships with national and international environment and life research networks and high-level research groups.
The founders of this network are currently looking for potential members. Interested parties can contact them via the form below.
