France-Quebec Mobility Grant
The Plateforme nationale pour la recherche sur la fin de vie and RQSPAL offer financial support for doctoral students working in the field of end-of-life and palliative care research. Two fellowships are available, one from Quebec (5000 Canadian dollars), the other from France (3500€).
The Réseau québécois de recherche en soins palliatifs et de fin de vie (RQSPAL), like the Plateforme nationale pour la recherche sur la fin de vie, seeks to promote end-of-life and palliative care as a research theme and to encourage young researchers to take up the baton. It is for this reason that the two organizations have come together to offer two scholarships to doctoral students wishing to perfect their research skills and knowledge in this field. The bursaries will enable them to visit a French laboratory for Quebec students, or a Quebec laboratory for French students, for additional research training in a field that is underdeveloped or not at all in their home team. This may involve technical or methodological training, a new protocol, a new collaboration... The aim is for the candidate to be able to transfer the skills and knowledge acquired thanks to this fellowship back to his or her laboratory.
