This training, unique in France, provides training in research in the fields of end-of-life and palliative medicine.

This is a multidisciplinary master's program involving both specialists in the field of healthcare and the human and social sciences (SHS).

The aim is to offer scientific and methodological skills, both qualitative and quantitative, to be able to consider a research project and/or a doctoral project.

Students learn to problematize and design a research project, draw up a protocol and implement it, exploit data and communicate results. The regulatory dimension of research is also addressed.

The pedagogy is based on inter-learner dynamics and the richness of exchanges between individuals from diverse backgrounds (SHS and health). In the second semester, they are integrated into end-of-life research teams for their internship, at the end of which they are required to submit a dissertation.

This Master 2 is open to medical students with a DESC or FST in palliative medicine or a Master 1 in human and social sciences. Admission by validation of professional and personal achievements (VAPP) is also possible.
