The International Francophone Research Symposium on Palliative and End-of-Life Care (CRIF-SPAL) aims to create a leading international Francophone scientific forum in the field of palliative and end-of-life care, a space where Francophone research is shared, discussed in depth, enriched, and translated into action.

This conference is distinguished by its explicit Francophone focus, which recognizes the diversity of cultural, social, and political contexts within the Francophone world as a source of scientific richness. It is also characterized by its focus on impact. The goal is not merely to present results, but to stimulate methodological innovation, accelerate knowledge transfer, and promote the scaling up of evidence-based practices. Finally, its intimate format fosters in-depth, interactive, and formative exchanges: workshops, mentoring, strategic discussions, and spaces for collaboration. The goal is to offer an engaging and distinctive scientific experience.

October 6, 2027, will be dedicated to a pre-conference session on pediatric and perinatal palliative care. October 7 and 8, 2027, will be devoted to CRIF-SPAL activities.

The RQSPAL invites the French-speaking scientific and professional community to actively contribute to the program for this first edition by submitting a presentation proposal by October 25. Proposals may focus on research findings; knowledge transfer or mobilization initiatives; innovative projects; as well as clinical or organizational experiences that have been documented or evaluated using a research-based approach; and methodological or theoretical reflections.

The National Platform for End-of-Life Research, a partner in this conference, strongly encourages French researchers to participate.
