Panorama 2021
Every year, the National Platform for End-of-Life Research draws up an inventory of research in this field in France.
While the first national survey launched by the Platform in 2019 counted 280 people declaring they were conducting research in the end-of-life field, there are now 336. 71% of them are affiliated with a research unit.
There are 62 disciplines involved, 54% of which are in the healthcare field and 46% in the humanities and social sciences.
The male/female ratio, research themes, geographical distribution, pathologies and populations studied... are all analyzed in this overview.
