Inform Train TRAnsform l'Accompagnement en fin de VIE
IFTRAAVIE (Informer, Former et TRAnsformer l'Accompagnement de fin de VIE) is an interdisciplinary project aimed at disseminating standards on end-of-life care to diverse targets. This action will enable the gathering of their representations and the production of knowledge that will in turn contribute to the effectiveness of the texts. The question posed to the Citizens' Convention becomes a central element of the project.
The objectives are: 1°) to avoid the pitfall of a lack of information, and 2°) to explore avenues not opened up by the National Consultative Ethics Committee in its opinion no. 139 (the situation of minors, that of people unable to express their wishes, but also that of people with disabilities, not forgetting the specificities of chronic pathologies). Deliverables: conferences, a book and training courses. The project is steered by the Institut Jean Carbonnier, in conjunction with the François Citoys Medical Law Association and its network of professionals.
