Treatments and Innovations for All: How to Ensure the Sustainability of the Health Care System
Sixteenth National Congress of Cancer Networks (CNRC 2026).
The challenges of accessing innovation—and ensuring that everyone has access to it—are legitimate aspirations.
Ambitious programs such as France 2030 and the Decade-Long Cancer Strategy, which sets national goals in oncology, are major assets for the success of this collective commitment.
The economic context and ethical questions regarding the practical organization of equal access for all patients warrant further consideration and support during their implementation, and the DSRCs (formerly regional cancer networks), as well as other organizations involved in cancer care, wish to play a full role in this effort.
The goal of this conference is to discuss the challenges facing our society regarding the economic choices and issues involved in ensuring access to optimal care pathways for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as ways to support the integration of new telemedicine practices, advances in artificial intelligence, and the emergence of new professions. All of these raise questions about the resources and means needed to achieve these goals and ensure that patients benefit from them.
