AMI End of Life 2021: 15 eligible projects
The National Platform for End-of-Life Research has launched a call for expressions of interest to fund interdisciplinary research projects.
This call closed on November 26. Sixteen projects were received, of which fifteen are eligible. This represents a total of 162 employees.
44% of the project leaders are SHS researchers and 56% are from the medical sciences. The disciplines are varied: psychology, philosophy, sociology, language sciences, private law, epidemiology, biostatistics, palliative medicine, medical oncology, intensive care, internal medicine and neuroscience...
Themes include bereavement, vulnerability, caregiving, predictability of death, sedation, medical aid in dying, decision-making, access to care and research networking.
The dossiers are currently being examined. Some of these projects will receive funding of up to €20,000. The results will be made public at the end of January.
