Call for palliative care research projects
There are five vacancies for university clinical supervisors and hospital assistants specializing in palliative care research.
The 5th National Plan "development of palliative care and end-of-life support" 2021-2024 includes support for research among its priorities.
In this context, it provides for the creation of 5 positions for university clinical leaders - hospital assistants (CCU-AH) in palliative medicine. The funding of these positions will enable teams to better structure their research activities. The aim is to build up a pool of future university hospitalists across France.
This call for projects is aimed at postgraduate students in the final year of their Diploma of Specialized Studies (DES), candidates who have validated their DES less than three years ago, and CCU-AHs under other DEASs at the end of their second year of clinical training. The latter will have to demonstrate their interest in palliative care either through validation or enrolment in a Master 2 diploma, or through completion of cross-disciplinary specialist training, a DU or DIU, or prior clinical experience in this field.
Applicants must propose a research project envisaged as part of a Master 2 research, doctorate or post-doctorate type of training, with an attachment (current or planned) to a research team listed in the national directory of the National Platform for End-of-Life Research.
The call for applications is open until June 30, 2022 for a position start date of November 2, 2022.
