Legalization of euthanasia: An ethical dilemma for caregivers

The LEDES research project is part of the CAPS Laboratory's first line of research, focusing on Psychopathology of the Body and Current Clinics. It aims to explore what underlies the ethical dilemma of caregivers faced with the legalization of euthanasia, by addressing subjective, institutional, legal and ethical issues.

This doctoral project, transdisciplinary in nature, addresses a particularly urgent issue in connection with the Falorni Bill of 2021 and the recommendations of the Citizens' Convention on the End of Life announced in 2023. This will raise complex debates surrounding the legalization of euthanasia by highlighting the ethical issues for caregivers.

Under the direction of Dolores ALBARRACIN.
