Maria ARANTZAMENDI

PhD, RN. Professor of Nursing and Co-Principal Investigator of the ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care at the University of Navarra. Principal investigator of the research line on Intangible Values in Palliative Care. Her research focuses on person-centered palliative care, with particular emphasis on the intangible values of care—including dignity, compassion, and gratitude—as well as qualitative and mixed-methods research, clinical communication, and the experiences of patients, families, and healthcare professionals. She leads national and international research projects and contributes to the advancement of palliative care through research, education, and international collaboration.
