My projects have a strong oncological and genetic valence and are characterized by multidisciplinarity. They are divided into 2 axes:
-the first axis is historical and aims to assess the economic impact of innovative healthcare strategies (particularly in terms of efficiency) with work that is part of a collective approach to public decision support.
-The second focus of my research is part of a more individualized approach to care.I'm interested in the actors who accompany the patient and the devices for helping and supporting the patient throughout his or her care, health and life course. This involves a descriptive and comprehensive analysis of support systems and the patient support relationship, as well as a study of the levers for improving patient support.
These projects, which take place in both hospital and population settings, aim to optimize overall patient care. For these projects, I mobilize the methodologies of applied economics but also other human and social science disciplines (sociology, psychology) and collaborate and co-construct with researchers in SHS, epidemiologists and biostatisticians but also with patients and caregivers who are partners in the research. My projects combine qualitative and quantitative approaches that enable me to apprehend the question of caregiving, its determinants and its impact in a global way.
